After arriving in Italy, our first adventure will be at the Isle of Capri across the water from the Bay of Naples. We are staying in Capri four days, and will also travel by hydrofoil to Positano, Ischia and the mainland as we eat and drink our way across the South of Italy
The famous Faraglioni Rocks off the shore of Capri. A beautiful resting spot. This year, we are going to motorboat around Capri and take a ride into the fabulous and enchanting Blue Grotto!

Next stop... we head for Florence, Italy and the Region of Toscano (Tuscany)
Sheri and I got the best deal on our rooms in Florence. We are staying at the Westin Excelsior and our rooms were "purchased" with Starwood Preferred Guest Points.. What a deal!
I stayed at the Excelsior on my last trip to Florence in 2015... the rooms are spectacular. Glad I signed up for that special credit card..

Pisa and the Leaning Tower
Just an hour train ride from Florence, we get to explore Pisa and take some fun photos of the Leaning Tower.. where everyone is sideways!
On the water in Portofino, Rapallo and Santa Margarita we travel by train from Pisa, and then by ferry to the different ports that we will be visiting. This is one of our day trips... I am sure we will be exhausted by the time we return to Florence Santa Maria Novella Train Station.
OUR LAST STOP WILL BE VENICE...
Who could pass up a trip to Venice? Not me...I love that place, and have friends there, so it will be nice to reconnect! Of course, photos will follow.
After three days in Venice and Lido, we will head by train back to Roma.. stay overnight and head back to the USA on October 2nd...
What an Adventure!
